Red Wines
EOS, Pinot Noir, California 2018
Eos, the Greek Goddess of Dawn, was cursed by Aphrodite for having an affair with Ares. Her punishment was an insatiable appetite for young men. At Eos – the winery – we're just as passionate as our namesake, but our insatiable appetite is more wholesomely geared towards the production of dense reds, complex whites and luscious dessert wines. Fruit sourced from Paso Robles and other premier sites throughout California. Fruit-forward and approachable wines with great value.

Tornatore-Etna Rosso
Aromas of red berry, rose, thyme and a whiff of camphor shape the fragrant nose. Sleek and graceful, the lithe, savory palate delivers juicy strawberry, crushed raspberry, Mediterranean herbs and white pepper framed in glossy tannins and fresh acidity. A mineral note evoking smoky flint lingers on the finish.

Montevina, Zinfandel, Amador County 2017
This wine offers classic varietal characteristics like ripe cherry aromas, complex flavors, and silky tannins. As distinctive as it is, it’s also friendly and unpretentious with plenty of bright red raspberry and plum flavors, with smooth hints of vanilla on the palate.
$32

Moillard-Cotes du Rhone, Les Violettes
Intensely ripe black-cherry flavor is shaded by spicy notes of cinnamon, anise and gingerbread in this wine. Voluptuous and almost syrupy in texture, it stays fresh with a distinctly mineral undertone. The finish is moderately long, ending on fine, ripe tannins.

Starmont Carneros Pinot Noir, Napa Valley 2015
We really enjoy Carneros Pinot Noir, because although the fruit presents itself readily, there is an undercurrent of ‘Pinot funk’, and earthy element that adds complexity both on the nose and the palate. A slightly higher percentage of new oak was used (33%) to stand up to the richness and weight of the concentrated 2015 vintage. The oak adds both to the nose and the texture of the wine, but still allows the fruit to be front and center. Dark garnet in color, the 2015 offers layered notes of plum, dark cherry and cola spice. With moderate acidity, weight and density, this wine has outstanding depth and length.

Shannon Ridge, High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon, Lake County 2018
"This Cabernet Sauvignon offers blackberry and dried cranberry characters with notes of pepper and allspice. The lengthy finish shows hints of cedar along with ripe fruit and toasted oak." - Joy Merrilees, Director of Winemaking and Production
